The 1st Annual Central Coast Lavender Festival is the premier celebration of the joys of lavender and the largest lavender festival in San Luis Obispo county. Paso Robles is located on the Central Coast of California, cradled in the prestigious wine and olive region of this rich agricultural land between Santa Barbara and Monterey. With less than 20 inches of rain per year the Central Coast has an ideal microclimate for growing lavender and ; the area is similar to the Provence region of France.

•  - Free seminars on distilling lavender, benefits of lavender and demonstrations throughout the day in the City Park Gazebo.

•  - Features lavender producer, growers and farms from throughout the central coast, who will serve tastes of lavender cuisine
•  - Bath and body lavender spa products
•  - Education on lavender, lavender growing and sustainable farming practices
•  - Features a special children's activities area
•  - Accompanying the Lavender Festival is a juried art show, plus a variety of food and festival vendors
•  - Admission is free and there is free parking throughout downtown.
